Golden
This collection investigates the human form by navigating the tension between elemental chance and intentional structure. Utilizing a unique ice-painting technique, I allow the melting process to generate organic, atmospheric textures that mirror the subtle sensations of the body. To further heighten this visual dialogue, I apply gold pigment to the negative space, creating a rigid, metallic boundary that competes with the fluid silhouettes. This interplay between the entropic designs of the ice-melt and the brilliance of the gold explores the duality of the human experience: the friction between our internal fluidity and the structured world we inhabit.
