Figures
This collection captures the subtle, fleeting sensations of the human form by integrating the natural movement of melting ice into the painting process. My goal is to create a dialogue between the structured lines of the body and the wild, beautiful designs created by the ice as it transitions from solid to liquid. By allowing the pigment to settle into these natural patterns, the work moves beyond traditional portraiture. It invites the audience to see the body not as a static object, but as a feeling, fluid entity shaped by the forces around it.
